    The Aurora area — just 37 miles from Chicago — is ideal for small- to medium-size unique meetings. Imagine meeting in the oldest roundhouse in North America or in a restored 1930s movie palace. Ideally situated along the Meeting of the Great Rivers (Mississippi, Illinois and Missouri River confluences), our meeting spaces are just 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, as well as the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.     Logan County has many meeting facilities including Rusty’s Clubhouse and Grill, the Maple Club, the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus Hall and the Holiday Inn Express. Logan County also hosts four major events: the Logan County Fair, Heritage Days, the Art and Balloon Festival and the Abraham Lincoln National Rail-Splitting Contest. This county is steeped in Abraham Lincoln history and is home to the Postville and Mt. Pulaski Courthouses from his 8th Judicial Circuit rides, as well as the Stage Coach Inn and the Hoblit Carriage House. Route 66 also provides many other tourist attractions. Logan County offers seven hotels with 370 available rooms.
