Located on Main Street in historic downtown Alto Pass, the Alto Wine Trail Loft provides 2 new units, both with 2 bedrooms offering unique accommodations for experiencing the wineries and wilderness of Southern Illinois. An alternative to cabins in Southern Illinois, the Wine Loft is a vacation loft rental in Southern Illinois. A unique getaway in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest, the Loft is a private vacation rental, close to Giant City, Southern Illinois University, and the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The historic building that is home to the Wine Loft was constructed in 1912 as a general store. The Loft renovations used environmentally friendly material and preserved as much of the original brick work and exterior as possible.
