Blooming Fusion returns to The Next Picture Show after its successful 2024 debut, bringing a vibrant 2D art exhibition inspired by flowers, plants, and gardens. Running February 18 through March 28, 2026, this juried show highlights fresh perspectives and creative connections rooted in the natural world.
The exhibition features original works in watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, pen & pencil, and charcoal. Designed to spotlight hand-created artwork, Blooming Fusion focuses exclusively on traditional and contemporary 2D media; photography is not included in this exhibition. Visitors can expect a colorful, thoughtfully curated collection that explores themes of growth, renewal, and organic form through a wide range of artistic approaches.
For artists, Blooming Fusion offers an opportunity to build on the exhibition’s original vision while introducing new interpretations and personal styles. For the public, it’s an inviting and uplifting experience—one that celebrates nature’s influence on creativity in a way that feels accessible and engaging.
Blooming Fusion is presented by The Next Picture Show, a community fine arts center in Dixon dedicated to nurturing artists and connecting people through the arts.
