Returning to Elgin this year is the Mexican Independence Day celebration, "La Fiesta de Elgin" on Sept. 13th and 14 in downtown Elgin.
This event brings together community partners including the Gail Borden Public Library, Centro de Informacion, Elgin Hispanic Network, Villagomez Bros, Elgin State Bank, Modelo, and Friends of Masons.
The 2-day celebration will include programming both days in different locations in downtown Elgin.
