Get ready for some fun – we can't wait for MayFest! Join Dick Brothers Brewery in partnership with Quincy Brewing Company at MayFest. The event continues a tradition of celebrating Quincy’s German Heritage and pays homage to the Brewery’s History.
MayFest is a family-friendly sister event to Oktoberfest held in the fall with a focus on craft breweries and partnering with local organizations to bring a fun family activities throughout the day. Mayfest (or Maifest in Germany) is the traditional German celebration of the arrival of spring. Mayfest is still celebrated throughout Germany with the maibaum (maypole) decorated to show off the history and crafts of the town. Mayfest, similar to Oktoberfest, has now become a popular celebration throughout the world.
