Peoria Players Theatre is a community theatre that produces four to five musicals annually.
Peoria Players Theatre is the longest continuously running community theatre in Illinois, and the fourth longest in the nation. We have been in continuous operation since 1919. Typically, we produce nine shows a year -- four musicals (sometimes five musicals), one comedy, one drama, a special production in June, a youth theatre in August, and a holiday production in December. Our current facility in Lakeview Park, on the corner of Lake and University, seats 302 patrons and is handicap accessible.
