The Arts Center of Oak Park is a magnificent neo-classical building with unique caramel leaded glass windows, beautiful torchieres adorning the grand entrance foyer, large lobby/reception area, two coat check rooms, and ample restrooms.The upstairs auditorium seats up to 700 people, has a built-in Kimball pipe organ (42 rank, 3 keyboard), concert-style stage (18' x 36'), 6 dressing rooms, sound system, and Baldwin grand piano.
The main floor has an attractive carpeted room with a podium, sound system, kitchen, grand piano, and seating for up to 150 people (or standing room for 300). This area adjoins the Ernest Hemingway Museum which is also available to groups.The building is air conditioned, and ample parking is available on-street as well as in large lots one block south. The facility is ideal for meetings, exhibitions, recitals, concerts, retreats, seminars, lectures, and receptions.
