Neighborhood Co-op Grocery offers a wide range of fresh, wholesome foods with a commitment to quality and sustainability focusing on local, organic, natural, and fair-trade products in Carbondale, Illinois. We value partnerships with local growers and producers for local fruits, vegetables and meat, bulk foods and prepared deli items. Besides groceries for the everyday and gourmet, we also have a huge selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, deli and hot bar prepared foods, freshly made bread and pastries daily from our bakery, local beer and wine, and extensive wellness and gift items.

You never know what you will find at the Co-op! From new products, sampling, to live music, events like our annual Farm Crawl and Feed Your Neighbor 5K, participation in the Link Match program and publication of our quarterly Morsel Magazine - there’s always something going on. We like it that way. After all, we’re not your average grocery store. We’re a Co-op!
