Schmaltz Delicatessen

Schmaltz Delicatessen was founded in 2004 in the Chicago suburbs, with the goal of providing an authentic Jewish Deli experience to everyone! Schmaltz Deli was originally founded by a Culinary Institute of America graduate and former chef at the Four Seasons, who decided his friends and neighbors deserved a great New York style deli that was accessible.

Our original location serves hundreds of premium quality overstuffed corned beef and pastrami sandwiches every day. But we didn’t stop there, we developed a great all-around sandwich menu, traditional Jewish favorites, homemade soups, salads and a full-service deli. Still today the tradition continues with an eye on future development of great Schmaltz originals and growth to reach more people and embracing our motto “Spreading Deli Goodness Everywhere.”
